About Me

Whats up, my name is Nick. I am a baseball fantatic. I'm a former jarhead from the San Francisco bay area, in sunny California. In my childhood days I followed the Giants, they were close and had a lot of media coverage. When I was 8 or 9 I attended a camp that Carney Lansford was helping out at. He told us about playing in the city of Boston and how they followed their team through anything, and he stressed ANYTHING. He also told us that the fans at Fenway were like no other fans. They were loud and knew everything about their boys. Living in the bullsh*&t baseball political world of California, it pushed me away from the local teams and made me realize that to be a great franchise you need a great fanbase. I started to notice how fans around here like teams to fit into social groups and didnt even watch the games they attended. I became a true fan of the Sox in the summer of '91. Mo Vaughn was a rookie(and in only 75 games did not look like he was going to be the stud he became), the staff was anchored down by a CLEAN Roger and the pen was led by The Terminator (Jeff Reardon). This site has brought me together with some GREAT Sox fans! I have met some people I can connect with and call family. One in particular, my beautiful girlfriend Kristen Elyse, aka Co Prez Pedroia, the first female Don in RSM. She is basically the sh*&t! I am a PROUD member of the Red Sox Mafia! We are a small organization, quickly growing, of die hard Red Sox fans that don't take sh*&t from all the bandwagoneers that flock here. 	It just depends on how long Beckett can go. I don't like the idea of having to use the pen for four innings on consecutive days but we'll just have to see how it plays out. posted @ 10/08/2008, 5:11pm

	A lot of those games at the Trop could have gone either way. So we can take a game or two. We're pitching Dice-K for Game 1 and Beckett for Game 2. Just hope Dice-K can go more than five innings and Beckett's got all the rust shaken off. posted @ 10/08/2008, 5:07pm
