alright, is it just me nation or is anyone else concerned with not winning the division and only getting the wild card. hey, dont get me wrong, a playoff spot is a playoff spot, but i'd really rather not face the angels first round. i know i know, we played them first round last year and spanked 'em. but...remember...we were a lot healthier last year. think about it, the angels won their division 92-57. granted, we could of been way ahead in the east had we been healthy this year. papi missed 45 games, beckett's thrown like sh*&t most the year, plus had elbow injuries, wakefield blows as of late, epstein and henry waited waaaay too long to cut buchholz, we lost manny(not that i care, but we could of used his bat in the clutch), papelbon's been blowing saves, drew's been out for a while, and now lowell. face it nation, come october...i believe we're in trouble. i have faith, but at the same time, i'm realistic. we're not healthy, haven't been all year, and that's really not the kind of spot we want to be in heading into october. a repeat in '08 is gonna be damn hard.
